that's hardly an 'italian' experience, it's a 'backwards village in italy' experience. Any backwards village in any country has the cons you are listing here.

Well, I think eating pizza is fine, i do the same. What I mean that globalization didn't play well for Italy. IMHO.

No, it didn't. Yet. But blaming just camorra is unfortunatelly way too simple. Best place to exchange money in Italy is in the post office. They do not charge a %. Just daily exchange rate + a 5 euro fee or so. Atleast thats what I did last year.

The list of reasons Russian politics like Italy - overregulated, crazy taxed ... thats what they do in Russia and many ex USSR countries.

In my opinion I would prefer Italy to be as it was 20 years back when I visited Alba Adriatica and Pescara.
