Awww, poor black people. We should give them free food and phones. Oh wait, we already do that... -

he is saying if you meet a black person who has grey hair then he remembers a time when segregation in this country existed and maybe it is okay if he is a little cranky.
He didn't say give all black people phones and free food.Comment

I didn't say that he said that, I said that because it's what came to mind after I heard him talking about black people complaining even more than they already do.Comment

Louie's my favorite comedian. Absolutely brilliant. If you haven't seen any of his stand-up I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

That's what I love about Louie, he has zero fear of taking on tough subjects and always finds a way to bring out the humor in them.
In the first season of his FX show there is the scene where he is sitting at the poker table with Jim Norton, Nick DiPaolo, and a few other comedians, one of whom is gay, and they talk about whether the gay comedian is offended when they use the word "faggot". It was an incredibly compelling and funny scene...
*Edit* found the scene...

and just like you don't give a fuck about slavery did to my ancestors, I don't give a fuck about what the Nazi's did to your ancestors. So we both can cry a river.Comment

BVF,
I really find you agreeable.. You keep it real 100%, total respect for that. Your one of the only people who can make me laugh out loud. I wish the black folks around here were as cool as you [mississippi].
But the majority around here (not all) are so racist and ignorant.. That I'm ready to move.10 years of experience in:

It's interesting that you say that. I have a few of my mainstream expedited freight clients in Mississippi (Meridian and West Point), and it's amazing to me how hostile and racist the black people are there, as opposed to Alabama, where it genuinely feels to me that blacks and whites live together a lot more harmoniously...BVF,

could it be that the majority of the people harping on this ARE IN THE U.S.?.....Why would we waste time investigating the slavery that took place in Costa Rica?

Mississippi was the heart of slavery... pure hell for black people... maybe that has something to do with it?BVF,

sorry man but you stumbled into the hole of ignorance with this comment. yeah shooting jews & tricking them into gas chambers & sewing twins together is the height of barbarism. But slavery went on over 350 years, not a dozen. slavery is a lifetime of suffering, bondage, beatings, hopelessness. if a slave learned to read, they got shot. jews that got the gas chamber got off easy compared to generations of african slaves.Last edited by Joshua G; 02-06-2013, 07:05 AM.Comment
