    In your country "escorting" is legal?

    Hi folks,

    I just want to know if in your country is legal to be an escort?

    Here in Brazil is 100% legal - the official name of this occupation is "professional of sex" and they can even retire when the time comes.

    Since this is a legal occupation, it is also legal to "use" these services.

    However, pimping is illegal and the jail time goes from 3 to 8 years.

      In the United States it is mostly illegal except in a few choice locations such as brothels in the state of Nevada.

      I think I heard in the UK that it is legal. Not sure on their laws though.

                          In germany it is legal, pimping is forbidden, but they call himself friend of the girl or something like that :-D

                                  Not legal but there are 10 pages of ads in the newspaper and far to numerous to count web sites - for all intents I guess you can say is quasi-legal.
