          Bad timing - syndicated comic strips get to the publishers a week in advance, though you would think someone would have pulled that one.

                  I'd say bad everything. Broom Hilda may be an old toon strip, but it was mildly amusing fare. It used to be funny during the Eighties. Now, meh... It dies a natural death.

                      That's just saying that Broom Hilda's voice is so loud that people can't hear the gunshots in the action scenes. Is there some kind of intentional humor directed at the theater shooting?
