I am surprised that when websites send out checks that they do not send out adverts and stuff (promotion for sites).

I am surprised they do not include such as car bumper stickers and such.

Is this a opertunaty missed?

i have t-shirts that have been sent to me ages ago from websites that i still wear (they are high quality too).

ok, it may not get sales but you never know.

but things such as usb sticks may keep people promoting a site.

it just may make one affiliate stand out more than another.

Yes, I hate that.

I can use a password on my computer and keep all porn related stuff there but those
flyers end up in the trash and the garbage truck spills it into the neighbors yard
while she's on her way to church.

For a lot of people, being found out to operate an adult sight can mean the
end of any other job they have and maybe even lose their place to live.

The entire U.S. is not on the same page when it comes to sex related stuff.

Excellent idea. In an increasingly cluttered world, there are fewer and fewer ways to reach any type target in an uncluttered environment.

Yeah, but what's your email to mail ratio? Mine is probably 100 to 1 and if it's just a promo from some random company, as opposed to a person that I'm working on a project with or whatever, there's a chance that I might not ever see that email.

Good point in that it should not be adult but it's still a good opportunity for hosts, registrars, or intro offers to mainstream affiliate networks like share-a-sale or pepperjam.

The reason you are getting less mail is that it is expensive and not cost effective to send crap any more. People just throw it out. So most adult companies are probably just doing the email thing as it is almost free and has the same rate of effectiveness.
