I have never had a single piece of content appear on any of those filehosts, and they all also appear to all be down.
Everyone makes mistakes. Natnet was hosting one of the biggest pirate boards a couple of years ago. When I alerted them about it they sent me a snooty response about how it wasn't their responsibility. However, after a few more exchanges they eventually canned the hosting and that's all the matters.
Paypal made tons off everyone's content these past few years. I really couldn't believe the audacity of their replies to me the times I have contacted them about this. But they are changing their tune now it seems. So in the end what really matters?Comment

Yes i designed all those sites
*although the work is several years old now and its slightly embarrassing to see old work.
File sharing sites..No problem with that. But that doesnt mean i support content theft. I design... for money.
It's not my job to look into the future and see what your intended purpose is with your design.
For all i know these sites may have been run legally and ethicly.
But again.. i have no crystal ball.Comment

I've done work for many sites that I don't agree with but as long as it's legal and they pay me, not my problem.
I do hide those from my portfolios, though...
