Neil deGrasse Tyson was recently on the Joe Rogan podcast and they went into great detail about the moon landing and the conspiracy theories. It's an interesting podcast from start to finish. Tyson's point is brilliant... it would have been EASIER to just land on the moon than to try and fake a moon landing and keep it a secret for 50 years. The Manhattan Project had 130,000 people working on it. But! It was a completely different time, a completely different generation, every sector was extremely compartmentalized (the soon to be Pres. did not even know about it), the media/communication technology was not as good, and it really was a life or death situation.
Secrets are beyond difficult to keep. Usually impossible. I do not believe the moon landing could have been faked without somebody, somewhere blabbing about something. Not to mention, the Russians would have been all over a fake. Did they fake going to the moon?
No, I'm pretty sure they didn't because they couldn't"
So he says they couldn't fake it, but at the same time says he's not totally sure they went to the moon as he wasn't there. If he really believes they couldn't have faked it, then he must also be sure they went to the moon.
Always a good idea to analyze a person's logic if you think they might be lying

the simplest argument why the landing was not fake is this: if it was fake Russians would be leaking this shit already long time ago - remember it was cold war. No doubt they were following every step with their powerful telescopes,satellites etc and nothing would make them happier,at that time, than to expose americans as fraud and fakers.Comment
