Premium amount of words on a blog post?
What works best for you? Normally i try and do a few hundred words but i'm always beaten in the ranks by blogs with little or even no blurb at all!

today it's all about the magazine style so you can spin the text from some other blog and just put 50-100 words and in the read more section add pics or whatever.. and u are good to go... yea i know shitty google :/

Depends what you are after. If you do keyword research and try and target a specific term with 1 blog post you should go for quality and well written 300+ words IMO.
keeping volume blogs updated and kinda fresh I'd say 50 words is enough.
