No, a troll is someone who comes out of nowhere to attack others and hides behind their nick in total anonymity. Like you did with AK. That is why I called you a troll. Not because your opinion differs than mine, but because the method in which you were posting, even threatening to "not allow" AK to do what he was doing and you were going to wake the people up. Really, just not necessary.
Life is simple. Piracy is not a complex issue. Either you support it or you don't. However, this isn't so much about piracy and is more about child porn hosted within the file lockers. Again, simple. How can anyone be against any effort to rid the lockers of such content, or shut them down? There should not be 2nd chances for any site caught with child porn. Period.

I think giving away full scenes for free on tubes is the single handed most idiotic thing we've ever done as an industry. It was not necessary. At the time when people starting giving it away, people were still paying for porn. But they fucked that up. So yea, I hate that model. It should be clips. I hope someone can find a weakness in the tubes (with pirated content) and go after them next. I doubt it will happen, but you never know. A month ago I didn't think I would see file lockers having their ass handed to them.Comment

You know, I just really hate these shit stains, most of who are either not in the business or don't belong in it, or too big a coward to let you know who they are, popping up and trying to derail the efforts of people who are trying to do good things. And I hate pussy pirates and those who support them and make non-stop excuses for piracy. I would peel the skin off of GideonGallery if I knew I would get away with it. If you're a pirate, just fucking own it and say it. Hike up your skirt, stop dancing around, and own it. "I'm a pirate." Or "I support piracy." You'd get a boat load more respect from me than being a cop out, side stepping, bitch. At least we'd all know where each of us stand.

Fuck them. The other points you made we've discussed before. I commented on the motives behind Ak and his campaign. You say they make no difference, i don't agree. I guess if he does kill of every locker then it will be useful in some way and that's therefore a good thing. I see some very large lockers losing PP so my early claims nothing would happen were wrong. I already congratulated him on this. If he does not start with tubes next then that will open questions since he already stated he is doing this for the good of the industry.
I am not Frank. The odd coincidence only makes sense in your mind since there is nothing stopping the same person posting posting under many nicks at the same time.

tubes = very easy to find and use for casual surfers, directly steal traffic, directly inhibit sign ups, directly steal cams, dating and all other revenue streams. Everyone i ask knows and uses tubes, only a few have heard of even the largest filelockers.
lockers= not so easy to find and use (forums full of dead links joining rars), take some traffic, take some sign ups, they themselves don't have cams or adult dating adds.
As i have said before, you seem okay, i just think a little too pro locker termination and a little too easy on tube justice. That's it. I hope if AK does go after tubes you will be as frequent a poster on that thread as you are on the lockers one.Comment

Just a note about taking on tubes, it's going to take a long time to cut down the file locker industry to the point where I will be happy that we have seriously and irrevocably damaged it.
The same goes with big file lockers, they take time, all of this is time consuming. It's not as simple as say , hey look at this site Paypal. We need to present some evidence so that Paypal have the grounds to expend their manpower to investigate themselves and I can tell you they carry out a far better standard of detailed forensic investigation than we do.
So between the time we notice a site, to the time we start work on it, then to the time we have a report ready it's already taken many man hours. Then Paypal have to investigate and that takes many more man hours.
At the moment we're doing over file lockers, that's a good start and we're learning alot from it every day. Once I am happy that we have mitigated the problems the file locker industry causes then you can talk to me about the "next step".Comment

I'd prefer to see them both gone. The problem is, no one has yet found the true Achilles Heel for the tubes, but it was found for the lockers, so that is currently where the focus is.
Tubes are not easy because so long as the comply with DMCA, which is removing the content when they get the notice, they get a legal pass for now. Someone has to find another crack to break their back. However, there are a few possibilities that I'm not going to discuss here that may cause some problems for some smaller guys. But the big boys have covered their asses very well. That said, everyone makes mistakes.
No one is going to sue them because most of the people who are in a position to sue them have tubes of their own, or are just wanting a settlement. So if you want to do something about tubes, you have to find another way. But as it stands, they are within the law so long as they don't get caught uploading the content. But even if they do, who is going to sue them? Pink Visual again? Settlement. Since no one has gone the distance in a law suit and set a real precedent, this is where we stand. But all it takes is one company to do that and win, and it's game on.Comment

It would be better to call out every single sponsor who either buys or sells pre-checked cross sells b/c they drive away paying customers. Eliminating file lockers just makes things more difficult for those who likely would have never purchased anything.
