I was really looking forward to this show and have a great deal of love for news however I have some issues with it. To be known, I quite literally grew up in a tv newsroom and know a great deal about behind the scene world of production news.
1. He's an asshole and I find myself not caring if he's successful or fails, bad character development
2. This takes place in 2010 but the 'news set' is a style and design that would of been used in the early 90's and never would look like that.
That leads to the biggest problem I have with the show the timeline of what a newsroom would be like is all over the place, you never get a sense of when things are taking place and everything feels like it's jumping periods of time.Comment

arguably one of the most satisfying shows on tv these days.
yes, its formula driven, and uses a ton of the standard tropes and themes, but still, it's saying something that needs to be said. so I forgive it it's formulas. So far.
this last episode was particularly good. the wingnuts must just hate it.Comment

Great Show. Sorkin writes things part reality and part the way he wishes it were. Some love it, some hate it. I love his outlook. Unfortunately, he seems to alway run out of gas around the beginning of the 3rd season on each of his shows. So I will enjoy this run for the next season and a half.
