Just what I did not need - Bang goes my Adsense account....

It seems the blocked it because of a stupid blog I put up a few years ago - The day I made it was the first and last time I looked at it.

    Really, really bad timing....

I should have read the email properly - They have just disabled ads to that site/blog - I just just saw the title and skimmed the email, freaked out a bit....

                  Congrats on keeping the account!

Losing my Adsense is one of my biggest fears.

Was the blocked blog doing anything in particular that was naughty or do they just not like the traffic coming from it?

It was a blog that was made by a script I bought ages ago - It was crap so I did not use it for more than a few days.

Its idea was to scrape breaking stories, put up blogs and then drip feed them - I did not use it so it was just one page.

It must have picked up some traffic from somewhere and Google took a look.

I shouldn't have put my main account on it. The email was a real warning 'we have our eye on you!!'....

I might be getting dense in my old age but... why does google have a problem with that?

I didn't realize they had "warning" type level, I thought it was ban-hammer or nothing. I'm paranoid about loosing my account and only put it on the absolutely cleanest pages but you still never know.

Because Google does not want anyone to post any advertisements on any sites - at least te front page and above the fold.

I think everyone who uses adsense should literally follow the YouTube model for advertising.
