Home Alarm Security System w/ Video?

Who do you guys use for wireless home alarm & security systems nowadays? I like the idea of video cameras in the house as well with remote recording and the ability to view the video feeds on my Android smartphone. I'm not sure if there are well known security companies that offer the hardware installation with the alarm monitoring as well as the video capability all in one plan. Or if I should just go with a reliable security company like ADT for the wireless alarm service with monitoring and get a multiple video camera setup on my own with separate software that enables remote viewing capability on my phone. Anyone can recommend a service or setup?

Comcast just started offering their deal cheap as ballz, complete system with ipad style control panel and it control your coolin/heating and it's all access via the net & smart pads and phones.

It was like $25/month for the cheapo pack, $35 for the good one, and $45 for the ballz out deal.

I was thinking of adding it all.

I dont like the whole monitoring aspect really I opted for one from frys that I alone have access to. Does everything you want and more but nobody but me sees it...

Gleem- I just checked it out, and according to the Comcast web site, Xfinity Home is not yet available in my zip code.

Mike- Good point. Not sure I want some central station monitoring what goes on in my house either! Plus if I get my own video cameras and pc to control them set up I could potentially use them to broadcast live content as well as use it for my own home monitoring.

I think I'll just get ADT or similar for home security and look for a package deal for video cameras & software to run my own video streams.

would be cool if hackers got into your system and released the subsequent sex tape

Did the software come with the hardware in an all-in-one kit Mike, and do you have a link or name of what setup you have that I can read about online?
