It's also a slippery slope thing. When you have commercials and people referring to vegetables as bad or nasty or "how do you make your kids eat vegetables".. well.. it's pretty obvious that it's a huge negative bias when it didn't need to be. COver it with cheese, thats how to "make" them eat it! Brilliant marketing playing on negative bias without a care in the world for their victi... I mean customers. Even lima beans are freaking delicious if you pick them and cook them that day. No child would naturally, without input from negative sources, say they were yucky. Just for an example. Bananas are 49 cents a pound where I shop, and I'm sure that's not the lowest price in town. |

I have a five-year-old sister that I lived with for a year. I saw how she works. They are smart, but controllable.
She knows that when she asks mom for a treat, she gets it. She knows that when she asks dad for a treat, she does not. Guess which parent she always asks for a treat? Knowing that, we can avoid this whole "Little Susie needs a fat filled snack" phase. |
its always the parents fault - just when i look at them i see they dont know any better either

because they spoil before I can eat them; gotta save gas by not shopping everyday, ya know. Also bananas are just sugar and fat people in risk of diabetes don't need to eat them or other sugary friuts. http://healthhubs.net/diabetes/which...etic-to-enjoy/ Quote:
because it's mostly fat and protein with little sugar conversion from starch. A banana with a glass of orange juice is bad news though. Last but not least, although a banana fills you up, they only make me fucking hungry! :1orglaugh |
50 Fat cunts !!

It's still hard for me to fathom why people would object to Mayor Bloomberg wanting to ban buckets of brown sugar water, haha. Why? If you want to drink half a gallon of soda just buy 4 16 ouncers and cope. Obamacare = bad. Banning horse sized beverages for humans = bad? Whats good policy anymore?

A certain number of people are going to die no matter what, so why fuck with people's freedoms to save a few gluttonous slobs? :2 cents: |
your a fucking idiot, how do you know she dosent have some medical problem that prevents her from being thin? Not everyone who is fat cant help it.

One of the main reasons that those with bipolar issues stop taking their meds is because of the resulting weight gain. There's other meds that do the same. |

the US pharma industry creates an artifical demand to maintain their record profits because once you talked people into imaginary diseases they are hooked - either to fight their imaginary diseases or because the medication made them sick and they need other medication. |

Even in the case of real diseases, the existing system chooses to "treat" them rather than to pursue the old school solution of actually curing them. Be that as it may, most folks tend to follow their doctors advice for what it's worth. |

Can you have a nuclear bomb under the second amendment? Nope. You can't even have certain kinds of ammo or weapons at all. Banning a CONTAINER size from certain establishments has nothing whatsoever to do with your freedom to drown yourself in Coca Cola (although suicide is against the law, so although you're not actually free to do that, you could probably get away with it). Anyway, it's too damn hot. I'm going to chug some glasses of water, but I wont be filling a bucket and drinking out of that. Just saying that for the sake of.. I dunno.. illustration? |

but there is also one very simple rule: if you eat more calories than you burn, you will become fat i know you eat very healthy and you're not fat. Easy as that - obviously. do you think that the people you see that weigh more than 10-15% more than their normal weight are that fat because of the medication they take, or because eventually their daily calorie intake exceeds 1600-2000 calories (depending on being male or female and their height)? When one Big Mac with fries and a Coke already have like 1500 calories - without supersizing it. and thats just one meal that day. |

Google prednisone for just one example |

but the percentage of people with medication induced weight gain should be insignificant compared to the total number of obese people or do you think otherwise? i wonder if there are numbers out there... |

corticosteriod like prednisone never made me fat just made me crazy as hell. I can deal with the bum knee pain but feeling like my head would erupt like Vesuvius - intolerable.

Exercise does a body good, people. Folks just don't want to move anymore. We're turning into sentient blobbies.
