    Turkey vacation + porn?

    Hi there

    If let's say somebody goes on vacation to Turkey and checks his email and maybe gfy on his laptop then there shouldn't be any problems right? Or using a proxy would be strongly advised?

          Never had any issues ever while crossing borders. And I crossed a lot of them even in shit hole (muslim) countries.

                                  There is ne encryption when you're using a proxy. And if some content blocked by internal turkish firewall, it will still be blocked.
                                  If you need privacy/security, use VPN. However I don't think you'll have any legal problems using default internet connection. It's all about blocked porn sites.

                                      hm encryption is one thing, but with proxy isn't the request sent to the proxy server? I mean if I use proxy and I enter a request for www.google.com then the Turkish side won't know shit what I'm looking at they will just see that I was making a request for something at a server (proxy)?
