Anyone just receive emails from CEG TEK for promoting ddgcash?

Hey,
I just received 5 emails this morning for galleries made from zip sets offered by ddgcash/digital desire because I am using their content without authorization. Emails received from CEG TEK aka copyright settlement group aka Ira M. Siegel, Esq.

I have been an affiliate of theirs for 5+ years and now I get emails demanding $500 per instance even though you can see the banner on the page and the image is linked to their paysite tour. Did they just forget they had an affiliate program?

You have to respond to them no matter what. Contact them and explain and ask whats up. They've taken some pretty aggressive steps and you need to pro-active - otherwise you might find yourself added to a lawsuit seeking some very serious damages.

Don't let people here talk you out of talking to them directly asap.

I've already emailed the people at ddgcash, I imagine its early in cali right now. Waiting for a response, just a bit nuts since they probably have thousands of affiliates with their content up

I got one as well, and the issue was apparently resolved. I'm kinda sad to get such a threatening e-mail from a law firm asking for money right off the bat. I've never really had a problem with digital desire and I even posted on this forum that it's been one of my favorite sponsors to promote. Now I have to worry about this?

I received 9 of them yesterday and they added my IP address to their whitelist but now the legal department of Mojohost is asking me to address this situation immediately. Fucking annoying. I definitely won't be promoting DDG Cash in the future.

Moments ago, I got 2 of them...and there's no WAY I have content of theirs on
any of my sites, or pages...
I pretty much only promote them via text links...and certainly not with the use of their photo content.

This used to happen all the time. My response has always been to clear the air and walk away. No. Delete links, clear the air, walk away. I have better things to do with my time.

Note: This has nothing to do with ddgcash - they never bothered me. But I'm going to remove what ever links I have anyways.

Due to the automatic nature of CEG's abuse detection software, it is quite difficult to ensure that all our affiliates were avoided. If you received any of these notices, please email me your domains and I will review and have them white-listed to avoid this problem in the future.

I do not understand why automated software is used for this, it will do more harm than good - this thread = perfect example of that.

And some months it's better.
But december and the end of november was awful.
In march (when the price was higher) i had a ratio of 1/1000
Then suddently when they changed the price i got credited for a sale, just this day.
