Is having original exclusive content a good investment?

Hello, I have been thinking about taking next step an order original content specially produced for my website. I was thinking in use the redlight adultrev tool, and also sell in on hotmovies or AEBN. DO you recommend agultrev or the VOD thing? Or is it better clps4sale or something like that? Do you recommend doing this at all? Thank you.

It can be worth it if you don't spend too much producing it, get good content, and know how to market it.

Put it on all the sites, don't limit yourself to one.

UNIQUE content can be very profitable. See Amelia G's sites - she's the best in her niche and I think it's a safe guess that she's making money. Exclusive pics of yet another silicon blonde doing the same tired poses are indistinguishable from millions of other silicon blondes, so exclusivity wouldn't matter. If a million other sites have content that looks the same, it may as well be the same content. If you do something that no one else is doing, go exclusive.

Well the internet is a very large place this isn't a simple question to answer.

Also most people here SUCK ASS at promoting anything so you really don't have to fear many surfers seeing a lot of the same content over and over again.

This was more of a problem 12 years ago when really everyone was buying the same 25 paul markham video and picture sets.

You have to be smart about the content you choose to put on your site whether it's exclusive or not. Needs to look fresh but doesn't actually have to be.

It's impossible to answer this question the way6 you posed it. Content isn't the same as programing, follow the rules and all it fine. Here's a few things you need to tells us.

What's the niches you want to shoot?
What's the twist you have to make them stand out?
What's your photography experience?
What's your experience shooting your niches?
What's your experience with finding models?
What's your experience dealing with porn models?
Where are you?
What's your budget?

Anyone can point a camera at a naked girl. Few can shoot good porn. In the eyes of surfers seeing it and thinking it's worth buying.

I was actually thinking in ordering to some studio to produce me a scene or two, to begin and see how it happens.

How much money do you have to spend on a scene and what type, style, level, niche scene?

You will be competing with the best available in your niche, style, type of porn. So expect to need a lot of money. Surfers don't give a shit if you're some newbie start up, they want what they're used to getting from others for their money.

Tom is right on so many points here. Online porn is vast so there are many answers.

Few in it can promote anything better than converting 1%. Most do far worse. The odds on a surfer seeing it twice are remote. The odds on a member seeing it twice are far more remote. Unless it was bought in Bargain Basement and 10 years old.

Because as he points out, that stuff has been sold and sold so many times. So many times it made shooting exclusive a fools game for us.

The odds on a TGP moderator seeing it twice in the same day are far higher and led to everyone needing exclusive very cheap content.

Fresh members area could be the latest updates from a content provider. Non Exclusive, 10-15% of the price of exclusive and often better. The problem is you can't give it to affiliates.

Of course affiliates and sponsors will not agree. Yet give no logical answer.
