Anyone tried this yet? It's awesome. I've never played Arma2 but bought it just to play this mod. Best buy I've made in a long time.
You start out along the coast of this gigantic game-world (225 km2 open world) without any weapon at all. You got to sneak around looking in houses and stuff just to find guns, drinks, food, vehicle parts, bottles.... You have to watch out for other players and also the zombies. You can also cooperate with people and speak directly to them through your mic.
If you die you'll have to start over from scratch. If you dont die and log out your character and the stuff you have will load right up next time you connect to any server.
Arma2 is now the topselling game at Steam because of this mod. ;)
You only need to buy the expansion Arma2:Operation Arrowhead (~€14) since you can use Arma2 Free to play Dayz.
