delivery here is about 11am and then for collections the same driver goes back round again in the afternoon. seems ridiculous.

ive had 9pm deliveries but only during peak times like xmas and valentines day

whats best is when you pay for early AM delivery and it doesnt come until late - always get shipping refunded tho

I have Amazon Prime and when UPS is going to be a day late (which happens more than I'd like) they just change the delivery date on their website as if I won't notice.

never had a issue with ups. my usps packages are moving slow.

You probably got delivered by FedEx ground. FedEx ground drivers are not employees of FedEx. They generally make just better than minimum wage, and have no benefits of any kind. They are required by FedEx to deliver every package assigned to their route or receive fines. During peak times, many FedEx Ground contractors will work 18 - 20 hours without overtime pay to get every package off of their truck to avoid having to pay penalties to FedEx.

yep it was a independent contractor. after i called them a fedex truck delivered my items tho.

What did the truck say? Did it say FedEx Ground? Or FedEx Express?

At least they don't leave an $800 package at the bottom of your driveway in the rain/snow. Had this happen before.

Also had a SLR disappear. After complaining multiple times, it randomly showed back up and re-taped.

have not had anything that late with fedex but right before Christmas i did get a package via UPS a bit after 11pm. Rang the bell and everything lol.

Fedex is fine for me, usually during the day.

But ANYTIME I use UPS it always comes after 7pm.. Not sure whats up with that.
