We've taken another look at Keep2Share
Keep2Share: Illegal Content Available. Pay by Google Wallet Visa & MasterCard |
After having all payment processing wiped out yesterday, the file locker bl.st (Blast) has announced it's shutting down immediately.

Good news for honest adult site owners :thumbsup |
A few updates.
Xerver.co is gone. Without payment processing there wasn't much alternative but to close. They have left a sizeable outstanding bill with a few web hosting companies. Keep2Share has reduced the size of it's infrastructure as they struggle to maintain payment processing (resorting to Google Wallet) and desperately trying to get re-bills activated on their current merchant facility (which will probably be shut down any day now). Keep2Share was one of several sites in the MoneyPlatform network. Below is a link to an image showing the extensive infrastructure the network used prior to their problems. http://stopfilelockers.com/data/moneyplatform.png OBoom is suffering downtime and uploaders are unhappy about not being paid. They probably won't recover entirely and this will become just another lost venture of Deniz Cetindag of Uploaded.net New file hosts keep popping up with Paypal and we keep removing their processing. The key here is to cut them off at the knees before they can graduate to merchant accounts. |
Cool! What about Asfile.com they are real pain in ass and still have Visa/MasterCard.
|
Why still works rg.to and ul.to?
You promised to close them. Are you lying to us? it is awful |
middle europe file servers growing every day you can try it but i never use it so choose wisely.
|
I see filestube.to went legit yesterday, and is no longer the file locker search engine it was.

Really this is sort of like the "War on Drugs". Being done with good intentions, no doubt, but really not "killing off" anything as a whole. I mean, since you started doing this has anything REALLY changed? Is there anything that WAS available on file lockers but now isn't?
I use file lockers extensively for television programs and there's more options every day, not less. I realize it's not exactly the same thing, but I can't imagine there's file locker downloads out there suddenly furious because they can't download their pirated porn. Really this should have been titled "Punishing Individual Pirates", which hey fine that's great to do I'm all behind it. |
Over time we and other organisations have been changing the assessment that payment processors and the card companies make of the file locker business model. This is not an overnight process however I am sure we will arrive at a point where it will be nigh on impossible to gain merchant processing for a file locker that pays uploaders.
This process means that we have to demonstrate to the risk companies, peer to peer payment processors, acquirers and card networks that the file locker business model should be classified as high risk and treated as such. To a certain degree we and other organisations have been successful and the education process is continuing. We are working to unwind almost 10 years of unmitigated proliferation of this business model and we have downsized the file locker industry with a very small support framework in place to do so. To expect completion of such a task within a couple of years is unrealistic, I had hoped it would be quicker but this is a complicated process. There is no doubt that it is much harder to obtain payment processing for file lockers today than it was two years ago. It's only going to get harder for them. Cutting off the money supply to file lockers does result in them shutting down. |
They never really stopped that guy who sets up a table on the street or at flea markets and sells cam rips of movies, either. But doesn't mean that you allow that kind of business to grow. Things have gotten out of hand with these file lockers. Even beyond the copyright issues, they are paying people to commit other kinds of fraud where the "stealing" isn't debatable. They are criminal organizations from top to bottom. It is very difficult for one guy from Australia to do anything about but he's still the only one doing anything. I'm not really sure where the dysfunction of the movie and music industries are happening, where they are dropping the ball, but AdultKing has made significant strides to stop the file lockers from growing. Sure more smaller ones will keep popping up but they will all be making less and less money.

Has anyone considered starting a legitimate file locker, where pay site owners actually add their own content?
As crazy as it sounds, it could be a legitimate way to compete with illegal file lockers... When someone downloads the content the user is served adds that related to the pay site where the content is from and also revshare premium account income with the content owners Just another idea / angle. :2 cents: |
Their business model isn't sustainable when you take into account production costs. They are basically just charging a huge fee to consumers for bandwidth.

However it's no longer a file locker if you do not allow user uploads. |

If you want to stop it you need to track it and tie these lockers to the money. If you track it and look hard enough, the evidence is there :2 cents::2 cents: |

Have you taken a look at SAFF.cc, Adult King? That forum is offering all kinds of tricky ways of getting around being tied to payment. However, with a "donation" using these "anonymous" billers, they're offering free access to 22 various file lockers. It enables forum members to download the hundreds of terrabytes worth of pirated porn there. "Donators" are even given access to paysite backdoors and hacked passwords shared there.
Their billing structure is here - 85.17.187.83/saff/index.php?action=don |

I've sent well over 10 DMCA notices to keep2share about the same 1000 files being uploaded by the same user on the same site over and over again. This user, that they are paying to do this, has joined multiple times with a stolen American credit card to rip my content. Guess that's not stealing either?
I am now wondering if the uptick in stolen credit cards being used to do this sort of thing is directly related to the people joining these kinds of sites. The fileshare sites turn around and sell the cards that are being used to join their sites to the pirates. True innovation! Also keep2share owns fboom.me as well. |

Keep in mind that the owner of those forums comes from the warez scene, harboured pirates the like of Rudy Corella and other file lockers while making money from them after he was banned from WJunction, then turned around to claim it was a honey pot all along and then has been stringing along on the coat-tails of this thread with some new found dislike of pirates. As for you, your website could probably do with some work Chris. |
The Deflection King has spoken, again without saying anything.
