This guy better have a high tech security system and a bodyguard
And a bulletproof vest.
It probably won't be one of the hard cases that gets to him though but rather a father who's kid loses out on a scholarship, or an especially good job, on account of some fairly minor offense coming to light.
This is extortion, plain and simple. This might be public information, but he's not just publishing information - he's threatening to expose him and then demanding compensation for not doing it or taking down the information. That's nothing more than extortion.
What he doesn't seem to understand is that he's dealing with people who have been arrested - the criminal element - and it's only a matter of time before someone slams him hard.
Plus the fucken guy is using the US mail to contact people. Oh man this guy has to go down.
913-888-BLAB if you have more cell phone mins to waste than I do. I cant believe he would answer the phone or send receipts through the mail as he says he does.
He is the ultimate deaushbag if he does all he claims.
Get something in the mail? Mark it "Refused Return To Sender" and get the US Post Office involved.
These sites are starting to popup like crazy, this is just one of many, though this is the highest price I've seen on one. There was another thread a few days ago where the site was charging ~$60 for removal. The messed up part is so you pay one to pull it down, how many others are out there pulling this free information off the public arrest report websites? Wouldn't surprise me to see many of the sites popping up being owned by the same people. I would imagine this is going to become a very hot issue fairly quickly.
sarettah, I just sent an email to the KC Star hoping they will investigate him.
Actually, it can be a criminal offense to report a person having a conviction when their record has been expunged. It's definitely a civil offense.
As for the 913-888-BLAB that is probably a land-line as the 913-888 numbers were around long before cell phones. It's the Lenexa area.
I've got several projects I need to finish, then I'm going after a couple of sites that list outstanding arrest warrants. They have me listed. I had a court appearance for a traffic case and my lawyer & I missed the date. But we got letters in the mail the same day and my lawyer called the judge to rescind the warrant and set a new court date. These sites only look at issuance never at rescinds or expungements.
Since it's BlabbermouthKC, I'll bet there's someone selling franchises all over the US. Probably the same sleazes that had NARC THAT CAR.

What this guy is doing is way different though. It's obvious extortion. If you go here you can see that you can remove a mugshot just by filling out a form http://www.mugshotsonline.com/removal/55523111
But the guy here is saying if you don't pay him he will keep you on the website and go around town posting flyers and ruin you....IF you don't pay him. The "If you don't pay him" is a big part of it as well as pro-actively going out there posting flyers "if you dont pay"

Yeah that is f'd up. You sure dont need some cowboy thinking you have an arrest warrant. Should def be laws against false info as that would be.
If the guy posted his real number it would be off the hook I would think. I dont really want to give the clown my number via caller ID and I am too lazy to reprogram my phone but someone call the number.
Many people get arrested for BS. http://consumerist.com always have horror stories of people being arrested for crimes that aren't crimes cause the cop(s) were so dumb. Couple a weeks ago a guy got arrested for making a purchase at a Best Buy with $2 bills. Seems the store manager and the arresting cop were so stupid they thought there was no such thing as $2 bills. Couple of hours after being in jail, the Secret Service gave the cop an education in US currency.
This arrest would have gotten the guy listed as a counterfeiter.
This. I've done this a bunch of times to a city attorney, a judge, and a few cops. I posted a Google street-views of their homes/address on a private blog with the credit report, SSN, home phone, etc.
I even posted the members of their families information and where they worked. The judges husband ran a large non-profit 501(c) company so I requested all the donors names and addresses and sent them a postcard with the URL to the blog.
I then started to build blogs on their biggest donors and doing the same thing due to their affiliation. I actually built a huge Network and then had to host it overseas (Russia) because they were getting the blogs shutdown.
Once they couldn't get the blogs pulled I went to my hardcore marketing mode. It took less then a month before I got an email asking what I wanted. My reply, nothing I already got what I wanted. As they got more desperate I'd actually tape the phone calls, then when they thought things were dying down, post the audio/recordings of the calls.
I left the blogs up for 2 years and got bored and then let the domains expire.
BUT if you go this direction ALWAYS leave a "want to contribute more" email because they do. Ex's, old roommates, co-workers, ex-employees, they all contact you, it's just a matter of time.
Funny you guys are getting upset about this kind of behavior.. I can tell none of you been in MS long. Meaning, this is just everyday normal shit.
The real crap is these sites are springing up like Spring weeds. So you have to pay them ALL off, even if the arrest was a mistake or say a DUI which your employer might not fire you for, except all those billboards Blabbermouth put up about you.
Truth is, I doubt BlabbermouthKC can afford billboards. I priced some back in the early 90's. Small ones then went for $500 a month. Huge ones on major freeways went for a hell of a lot more. He's just trying to scare people into paying. He might get one name up, but there's a fee for every image change.

I just helped out "Mr" Creed. I sent an email to my attorney in Jonson County about his scam and asked him to pass it on to the Bar Association, as many lawyers may be getting calls from clients about this.
Advanced knowledge is such a great thing. "Mr Creed" better be careful who you post. Gangbangers will be proud to have you post their mug shot. It may be a cop or politician you really have to worry about. You might end up an airport suicide, where they find you in the trunk of your car, handcuffed behind your back, shot 3 times and the pistol on the front seat. Had several of these during the '70's Mob Wars in KC. Amazing all were ruled suicides.
Don't quote me on the suicide rulings, but they did rule that on a mob guy, only it was out of a row boat in a small lake.
Yes, chapter13 is a bankruptcy where you pay back all your debts. You are just under court protection to keep the creditors from hassling you.
Chapter 7 is what most people think of as bankruptcy where you get to keep the house and maybe a car but you give up any other assets and your debts are totally cleared.
