All joking aside nursing is a great career for those who can handle the schooling and potential stress.
Healthcare is the fastest growing field in the nation and there is still a shortage of nurses. They get paid well, get good benefits and it is a job you can move just about anywhere in the country and do. A friend of mine's wife just graduated nursing school last week and she already has three standing offers for jobs at the places she interned and studied at. She will be making about $60K a year to start and closer to $70K within 3-4 years. |

I have a friend who's a surgical nurse. She just got divorced and started a new career.
She's making almost $60 an hour. That's sound career advice for most here. |
