Anyone doing the bodyrock thing? (fitness geeks)

Since our LA trip is now in about 5 weeks, we (as in the GF and I) started doing the body rock thing on top of regular MTB trips. Since I'm not allowed to run, jump or anything that can put pressure on my heels (old army injury) I'm swapping the routines around a bit. But I don't really need to loose the weight, I just want to shape up a bit - it's more the gf.

Anyhow, anyone tried it and want to share some experiences? The chick is pretty hot after her boob job btw, that's a plus having to watch the videos a lot haha

My gf's goal is to drop 9 Kilograms, in 5 weeks. So obviously we are working with food on this one too. Think it's possible?
    But.... I pulled out...

If you lay on your back and wildly flail your arms and legs around for 20 minutes until you're in a puddle of sweat -- and you do that every day -- you'll end up looking the same as if you did p90x, Insanity or Bodyrock.

What I'm saying is it doesn't matter how you're being active. As long as you do your exercise in a short, intense way to the point where you're huffing and puffing for oxygen, and you eat a semi-healthy diet -- your body will end up in the same place.

If you want to get in shape quick, my advice would be look into Tabata protocol(just go to Youtube). It's all about keeping workouts short and super-intense. Saves time and gives a better result than being in the gym for an hour.

I got in shape last summer by doing a Tabata sprint program a few times week, in addition to my normal gym time.

it's all good really, whatever gets you moving. It's just a matter of what bores you and what doesn't.

I'm starting Insanity tomorrow, just for the sake of keeping things different.

I started Insanity this morning. Don't do the workout with someone you're sexually attracted to, or you'll be fucking like crazed weasels in a cornfield before the workout is done.
