I've used Linode for years. I host a few small but extremely important sites on a couple of Linode VPS and even keep another VPS with them just to test and screw around with.
Today they're giving away $250,000 in services. If you're a new customer, you get $100 credited to your account to use towards services. If you were to get the smallest VPS, that would give you 5 months service for free.
If you're an existing customer and add a service, you will get August, Sept, and Oct for free for that new service regardless of price.
This is a great deal but once all of the $250k has been spent, the deal is over so get on it now.
