Hi,

We're working for over a year with 2 products of BetterCGI,
Strongbox and Throttlebox. Really great software to work with.

Tho we'd consider to change our protection to another software.
Since serveral weeks our Throttlebox software does not function correctly anymore,
and Ray promised serveral times to have a look, and come up with a fix.

Well, some weeks later, my issue is still not solved yet.
It's been already six days I've had the last response from Ray.
(Ray, you'd realize i'm losing money cos you?)

Due to this all we're serious considering another piece of software to throttle bw and downloads.
I'm looking to hear your experiences with similar software like "PENNYWISE".

Another option would be that Ray does delete all from our configs,
and install it all again, and charge the creditcard for $39 to re-install,
but that's hard to achieve without any reaction!

Now that is a GREAT idea.

Take legal legitimate porn, and make it a much worse experience for the user than pirated porn!

Never understood why a paysite would EVER throttle downloads...

The only thing I can think of is that when bandwidth was expensive, the smaller one man band types thought it would save them some money.

But today, to make the UX worse than piracy has to be one of the most stupid things you could do. Unless you want to drive your traffic to a piracy site and never get them to pay for porn again...

We have been online since about 1998 and never had that happen once.

Don't give them shitty content and *DO* give the member as good an experience as possible = retain members.

Two points here.

1) He has PAID FOR IT. So bloody GIVE IT TO HIM, however, whenever he wants. Someone still willing to PAY for porn should be treated like a fucking hero.

2) If you update your content and it is good content, once he is in, why would he stop his membership? I can see if you never update and your stuff is bad that this would be a worry, but assuming your sites are good, why would he leave? Unless of course, your site was worse to use than a tube...
