She's redirected traffic from GFY, which she will probably remove in a couple of weeks because she wouldn't have been on the forum spruiking her services if there wasn't value in doing that for her.
She's lost a number of potential clients for the foreseeable future, not the smartest business decision she's made I am sure.
Whatever she does, however she spins it, she's lost money from all of this and she'll continue to lose money as long as potential clients remember her behavior.Comment

I wouldn't go that far.. there really isn't much value to this place to begin with. These boards are full of broke people and surfers for the most part. There is a very big world out there beyond gfy... I know people who have never made a single post on adult message boards like this and are completely unknown to the inner circles of the industry.. yet still make very good money doing what they do.

Nah I don't think she did. 95% of the people on GFY these days can't afford to hire a designer. They just like to behave like a webmaster despite the fact none of them make decent money. Those who have done business with her and know the quality will continue to buy there.

After she was outed stealing images from children's video games and using them in porn design, I would never use her.
I'd also be fucking worried if I had used her, that there is more stolen copyrighted stuff she has stolen. I imagine if you have her work on your site and it is stolen, you will be the one facing the litigation, not her...

NOw to address what you are saying about me "stealing".
The style of the blog in question was requested to be 'gamer chick/comic book'
So a gaming era background was created using 8 bit style graphics.
The accusation is that i directly lifted and copied someone elses work.
1st 8 bit (what i am accused of stealing/lifting/cut and pasting)
2nd 8 bit (Black area's are what are identical, highlighted using difference blend mode)
3rd 8 bit (my version)
You call it a nintendo supermushroom. I call it an 8 bit mushroom...
And it is clear to me and anyone who does not have a bias in this fight.. that they are NOT identical. They are both 8 bit mushrooms .. YES.
Have i copy/pasted/cut out... NO.
It is my rendition of a popular concept of an 8 bit mushroom.
In fact the 1st version is far better than mine. Mine is far more basic.
The ONLY identical parts are the BLACK areas. And that is small part of the the face fill area...
Now that first 8bit .... yes, ive seen it before. The only reason I use google images to research an image/theme... is NOT to steal. But to make sure my version is different..Comment

See..theres a multitude of 8 bit mushroom versions...Its very hard to make new one that doesnt look like another previous version.

Perhaps, but it's a registered and trademarked character. There's only so many ways you can draw Mickey Mouse. Give any one of them a shot and see how long you last.
The same goes for the ghosts and the space invaders. All licensed and trademarked characters.
You should email the various companies, link them to the site and see what they have to say. We know you've got no problem emailing people.

So Anna and I just had a very long ICQ discussion and who'd have guessed that I think it's possible we might actually come out of this as friends. Ultimately, she stuck her neck out for someone that probably should have done it themselves.
There's a lot in all of these threads that could have been handled differently and I believe that she understands this and where she went wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a kinder, gentler Anna on GFY. I also believe that she will do the right thing with regards to the issue of the 8-Bit icons, in the interest of taking care of her clients and doing the right thing.
