Maybe what you aren't understanding is that if it originated from another work, it must be entirely different in order to be considered unique and original.
If it's confusing, it is infringement and you will lose a lawsuit 100% of a time, and so will your clients.
Are you trying to get us all to believe that you don't see the similarity, and that the black word / outlines aren't exact?

There are three which I do not have, I have the rest of them. I know that all but three are GPL. I highly doubt that the three I don't have are commercial proprietary software.
I know you don't really understand the GPL but perhaps reading the officlal GNU/GPL site will clear things up.
The developers who told you they are unhappy are simply trying to hoodwink you. They're trying to have their cake and eat it too. They are releasing commercial software and promoting it as being GPL but when someone actually exercises their rights under the GPL they seem to want to cry about it.
In some cases it might be that they just don't fully understand the ramifications of GPL licensing or perhaps they just want to benefit from the promotion of their product as being GPL while never intending to honor the license. In any case, they are the ones in the wrong because legally GPL software once released must remain GPL in the form in which it was released.Comment

The GPL is not forced on anyone. People are free to release software as GPL or under their own proprietary license.
It is true that if you develop a derivative work of Wordpress or any GPL software for that matter that you should inherit the license. However Wordpress does provide some scope to use the Serendipity or Habari license if a developer chooses.
Nobody is holding a gun to the head of developers, they can elect not to release derivative works of Wordpress which is GNU/GPL licensed itself or they can choose an alternative license.
Some developers of some Wordpress plugins which are protected proprietary works achieve this by separating the Wordpress derivative logic from the proprietary logic and then release the derivative logic under GPL and the proprietary logic under their own license.Comment

If we take a legal standpoint, it's legal to copy , give away and resell GPL licensed software, it says so on the GPL official website and within the text of the license. Moreso, it's a condition of the license that those rights be enshrined within it.
Morally there is no issue, because it's perfectly legal and encouraged by the GPL to be able to copy, modify, resell or give away GPL software.
Blog Writer ? No we'd never do business as I make it a policy to only do business with people who have some degree of clue which clearly you don't as you have been directed to the official GPL site which clearly states the state of play yet you keep pushing your broken wheelbarrow.
