So many people selling stuff in the main forum

Does anyone moderate anymore? For many years I have sold stuff in the sell and buy forum and have had great results but now it seems like tons of people make threads here in the main forum and mods don't care.

Move the messages to the right forum then suspend the account's posting rights until a $50-$100 fee per post in the wrong forum is paid by Paypal or Paxum. I bet that would stop it cold for the chronic offenders.

I don't mind when one of the regulars starts a sales thread in this forum.

I hardly ever visit the sell and buy forum anymore. It's filled with nobodies bumping their own threads 5 times a day.

It's no wonder people try to sell their stuff in this forum when a useful thread in the sell and buy forum gets buried within minutes under a pile of useless 3rd world crap.

I rarely ever visit the buy/sell forum at all.... let alone any of the others. Most people come here and people are trying to offload shit to pay rent, so can't really blame them.

From personal experience it seems most serious buyers dig through the buy/sell forum. Posting there also seems to help business threads dodge the usual trolls.

traffic in buy and sell is way lower then the main forum, and it seems that traffic is the main forum is a lost slower than it used to be (though picking up lately with all the drama)
