Hey guys!
I was wondering if any Canadian webmasters had come up with any ingenious ways to get instant (or at least faster) access to your PayPal funds, since paypal has cancelled all debit/credit card services to Canadian webmasters?
This has been a major sore spot for me, since now I must withdraw funds to a business or personal bank account - which takes 5-7 business days - and then upload them to another prepaid card - taking another 3-5 business days - just so that I can use these funds to pay other online bills ... The entire process taking usually just shy of 2 weeks!
I have voiced my displeasure over the phone with PayPal CS managers on a half dozen occasions now, as well as posted in the Canadian PayPal Forums ... as I am frustrated beyond belief that PayPal could leave us Canadian clients hanging out to dry -- especially as many of us have been with PayPal since the beginning, and have helped them build the business they now have ...
I have moved hundreds of thousands of dollars between all of my businesses thru PayPal, and to this day a good 70-80% of my income arrives via PayPal ... (web hosting and selling adspace on 27 mainstream blogs ...)
The best response I was able to get from PayPal, is that they are "in the development stages of some new products for Canadian clients" - whatever that is supposed to mean?!?
I would love to hear from other Canadians who have been impacted by this clusterfuck, and what you have done to help gain access to your PayPal funds ...
