Wordpress private/public same install
I have a wordpress question. As we all know WP can run multiple blogs/sites with one install which is nice since it cuts down the admin overhead.
What I want to do is setup a public blog and a members area blog with one install. After thinking about how to do this, I think how I can achieve this is by setting up the installation in the members area (which is password protected) and then for the public blog, use a symlink to display one of the blogs to the public. Can anyone verify this will work or offer any feedback otherwise? thanks. |
