this is a good one for sure..

basically you need to find hobbies that you can lose yourself in from time to time. I have so many that it gets kinda crazy but gives me lots of variety at least.

I ride my bike from Jersey City along the Hudson River up to the GW, turn around and come home. great way to kill an hour or two on a nice day.

smoke shisha, and play guitar. Usually put the metronome as fast as possible and play so fast that I end up mentally exhausted.

Go for a hike Here in Vermont it's not too difficult to fiind someplace where it's beautiful and you watch the '3G' fall off your mobile's screen and all the bars drop to zero. Pretty perfect when you have nothing but you, woods and the occasional animal wander by. Very tough to snap back to reality tho.

Twice a day take the dog into the forest for 45 minutes.

Go in and sit with the chickens for 15 minutes, they're funny animals to watch.

Head down the mountain and feed a baby donkey carrots, cute little fucker that she is.

Sometimes borrow a neighbours horse.

Sit in the cherry orchard and read a book.

Basically get outside in the fresh air.

I grab my MP3 player, crank on some positive music, and start walking...about an 90 minutes of walking at a fast pace chanting some Tony Robbins mantras while listening to some hard hitting music and you'll feel great! Of course, everyone in your part of the city might think you've lost your mind as you are talking to yourself while walking....
