![]() i tried to transfer domain from my friend, but they bounced it, then they said , that domain unblocked, i tried it second time,
yesterday directnic deleted domain from friend's account , domain is being registered and expire in 2004 but it's not accessible, they removed DNS to directnic.... i just got email from Directnic : Dear Sir- Domain Name: xxxxxxxxx.com Administrative Contact: ... ... .. .. Was not considered valid contact information by the ICANN registry. Real contact information is required by ICANN in order to generate accountability for what is placed on a domain by any entity registering a domain name. Many customers prefer to use their business address instead of their home information. As long as the information is correct, using your business address is not a problem. The contact information of an individual who has registered a domain name is required to be legitimate contact information. This information is also required to be available to the public through the WHOIS database. According to ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers,) the governing body for the registration of domain names, a domain name registered by an entity providing invalid contact information is grounds for revocation of the registration of the domain name. They state that registrars \'should require not only that registrants respond to inquiries within 15 days but that the response be accompanied by documentary proof of the accuracy of the \'corrected\' data submitted, and that a response lacking such documentation may be treated as a failure to respond.\' Please update your information and fax to us proof of all your contacts for these domains to 504-566-0484. Please send your fax to the Attention of the Abuse Department. Once your domain information for all your account domains are updated we can replace this domain in your account for you to further manage. Sincerely- Abuse Department ~~directNIC Support Pease help me what to do, i haven't any access to this domain, neither my friend account nor my directnic account, I don't know how to update that information, or what all have i fax them ???? ![]()

first they sent this email:
We brought it to your attention twice that one or more of your domain names listed inaccurate information in the WHOIS contact database. Unfortunately, since you did not update your WHOIS information within 15 days, we had to delete the following domain name(s): xxxxxx .com Why did we have to do this? Unfortunately, as a domain name registrar, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has placed the responsibility on us to enforce the governing body's rules, including seeing to it that information provided in WHOIS is up to date and accurate. Failure for Intercosmos to adhere to these rules, after being notified of a potential violation, is grounds for our company's accreditation to be revoked. One major registrar already was threatened with this very action. Information on ICANN's new efforts to purge false WHOIS information can be found at http://www.icann.org/announcements/a...nt-03sep02.htm Please know that we value you as a customer and do not want to be forced to delete other domain names. Please make sure that all of your other domain names, or future domain names, have correct contact information, as per the directNIC Terms of Service, http://www.directnic.com/legal/policy.php. If you are concerned about your privacy online, note that your WHOIS domain contact information has to be accurate, but it does not have to be your home address. It can be a work or business' address. Intercosmos also is working on alternative solutions for the issue of privacy for its customers. One solution is for customers to use a third party company to hold their domain name registrations privately, under the company's name. We have setup a new company, http://alternativeidentity.com, that offers this service. There are others available as well. Thank you for your cooperation and for choosing directNIC. Sincerely, directNIC Customer Support [email protected] then i've put support ticket, that never happened to me , i'm confused ![]()
