Why do people reply to Gideon's threads?

I think Paul has a pretty unique perspective on stuff. Doesn't mean he's necessarily right or wrong, but I find him insightful. Gideon seems to know more about "intellectual property" than most of the people who reply to him, even if his ideas aren't agreeable to just about anyone.

It's not that Gideon doesn't know anything, it's just that most of what he knows is wrong. His ideas aren't disagreeable, they are simply wrong. The courts, the legislatures make the law and the law is, in most cases, exactly opposite of what he thinks it is.

Yes and what he knows to be the law, he wants changed.
