Is the American Film Industry is In Trouble too?

I've just been reading about how all these foreign governments (the evil socialist ones) are financing film production and generating wealth for their economy (most notably Ireland and Game of Thrones). These are also quality films (cable, whatever) where the actors don't milk the Production companies so the crew has to get paid peanuts.

Course they do when they get over here and star in American films because America is a whore house that will let foreigners do whatever they want while screwing their own citizens good in anything as long as the few make a few more bucks.

Seriously, the last good movie I saw was Barney's Version.

I only watch cable these days. GAME OF THRONES, MAGIC CITY, BOSS, BOARDWALK EMPIRE, few others... Plus lots of Indy Films and Foreign Films that never made it to the screen. Costs a lot for the entire package but it's worth it not to be held hostage by big budget popcorn flicks.
