				 | Yes, we know what it is. It's like a direct deposit or used to pay bills directly through your bank account. |

				 | Automated Clearing House (ACH) is both direct debit and direct credit actually. Commercial transaction fees are $0.22 ea at my bank normally the recipient will absorb the fee. e.g.; Online credit card payments, etc. A USA based affiliate program (or one with a USA bank account) could pay USA based affiliates ACH or use a fee for service USA based payment processor to do the same. It is used by domestic USA Federal Reserve member banks -- that is the clearinghouse. |

				 | Incoming to a US customer's account it's known as ACH. Outgoing to a merchant customers would understand it as an online check. .

				Ach
The average American knows Direct Deposit or Online Bill Pay, but they are clueless as to ACH or wires,. Fees for either depends on your bank, how much you have in your accounts and whether it's business or personal. Anyone on GFY who has a business bank account. Ask your bank if you can do a "Debit Block." Stops scammers from taking money out of you account automatically, just because they know your account number. Only way someone can take money is by court order. Bad news is, you don't know of the court order most times until the money is taken. Probably people are stupid everywhere, but I worked for a company where the head account had no clue what a wire payment was. The FBI sent us payments by wire and she just ignored them and them we kept calling to get our money. She also didn't know that having satellite Internet like Dish wouldn't require a cable all the way into space. |
