    Leisure Suit Larry - Al Lowe

    You know your older when... HOWEVER...........

    The original game Leisure Suit Larry returns! They have received 750,000$ funding to remake the new game and it looks pretty awesome if you want to go back in time. They even hired the original dude to get the series going again.

    I'm excited, release is October this year, i'm buying a new computer to upgrade my IBM-XT immediately and even going with a 9600 baud modem.

          it'll be a huge waste of $. it will fail and they won't come close to making back the $ that they spent making it.

                          i remember that from version 3, work around though, i forget, that game also had the thing with the red strip you had to put over it to get the words to pass through

                              Yup, Monkey Island, Indian Jones and Loom at those too. Don't even get me started on how my Loom didn't come with the red thing part and how they didn't believe me and wouldn't send me one. So, it wasn't until the 90's when I got to play past the demo part.
