Fair enough. Just wondered if the entire thing was going to be made available for those unable to attend, or just 'Highlights'

Seriously, none of the lazy ass reporters attending an industry-journal-sponsored conference can bother to put down their free drinks long enough to string together a few paragraphs summaring what transpired, as we await the herculean task (NOT) of editing what is essentially a talking head video?
Too bad we (THEY) are not in the internet/video industry... /
Thanks for the kind words guys, I was just me...I wasn't going to sit there idly and listen to that bullshit without calling them out. The guy they had doing the seminar was clearly some marketing lackey tossed to the wolves and manwin had several plants in the audience to try to derail any unkind questions/remarks. I'm here to say it didn't work. it will be interesting to see if xbiz releases the part after I asked my first question which was a set up question that he ,in fishing parlance, took hook, line and sinker.
It was a fun conference I I honestly want to thank everyone for the kind words and support, I had a lot more support there than I expected, including that of two of the attorney on the legal panel.
J D Obenberger in particular said very nice things about me in his opening intro on the legal panel.
Thanks to Alec and to Dan Miller for inviting me and allowing me to speak my mind. And thanks to the folks that offered support and kind words and thanks to everyone in that seminar that didn't leave me hanging out to dry when I said what you were thinking ;)

It's No wonder I took up drugs and alcohol, it's the only way I could dumb myself down enough to cope with the morons in this biz.

Thank you very much. I all ready had tons of respect for you, but it takes real fucking balls to stand up for whats right in this industry, especially now, and especially in person like that. Way to go!

you must wait for the breaking news that should come in a week or so.
Jesus Christ how few of you live in the real world and don't wear tin foil on your heads? Conspiracies, assumptions, douchy comments. I get that this is GFY and there are all kinds of elements in our business but come on.
Rather than be a keyboard warrior maybe some of you who do nothing but bitch should get off your lazy asses and actually attend a conference and participate in its contents. I get it, much easier to criticize than work. I attend most of the conferences and sit on lots of panels, other times moderate.
Mike, really? You're criticizing a moderator who took the role very seriously and spent hours preparing relevant questions for each panelist because only one of the seven of us submitted him questions to ask? Let's be serious and at least respect the guy who treated us and the audience with respect. Moderating isn't easy either, you should try it sometime. I failed miserably the first time I did at Xbiz LA two years ago, it takes practice. Douglas did his job well and there isn't any conspiracy here. I get that you are probably insensitive to others which is your prerogative but what you've just posted in this thread is nonsense and at best only hurtful to someone who really was working 110% and giving it his all.
Mike you know that I enjoyed meeting you, we had a good talk I thought and I do respect your integrity... but saying there were Manwin plants in the audience getting preferential treatment to ask questions (was only a few) is absurd. They have so many employees of course there were a couple in the audience but the few questions asked and answered were not figured out in advance, I'm certain of it. Rumours like this don't help anyone. There weren't but one hand in the air to ask a question each time because the audience was afraid or put off by some of the blow hards on the panel.
Despite Xbiz best efforts to make this a great seminar it was the panelists that didn't excel and that's just the way it crumbles sometimes. I did the best job that I could to add value and maybe everyone tried but on this day as a whole it definitely wasn't as awesome as others. A seminar is supposed to be a venue to pose questions, share information and give attendees "take away" value so they can grow their business... And with respect for everyone's time, add some levity and get people thinking as much as possible.
I look forward to seeing the video. Thanks everyone!
