    JMB Software Opinions

    Curious on JMB Software opinions. Their tube script mostly. Are most sponsor clips compatible with this tube script? I need to rip down a couple old tgp's that are mostly promoting sponsors I no longer believe in and I want to replace domains and subdomains with tubes starting out with a cheap script. How is JMB support? I would just use nubiles but support forum looks a bit dead these days

      TubeX is pretty much unsupported nowadays but it’s still a strong script. In fact I brought another licence a few minutes ago.
      If the sponsor has a configurable dump then you can import the clips, in fact there are many that are not configurable that you can still use if you are imaginative. There has only been a couple that I haven’t been able to get to work or it was just too much trouble to bother with.

          The script is easy and good, imo. And very cheap now, but that is because there are no more support for it. Jeremy from JMB have a new job now Still, there are many people that I am sure can help if you need anything. But as I said, it is easy to use.

              Get the server eddition you can put it on as many domains as you want on the same server and I think it's only $50
              I run several copies of jmb software tgpx tubex and they all work fine.

                          Am I wrong or is there/was there a server edt. for TubeX? I have the server edt. for TGPX, but never seen for tubex.

                                  It's better than the free Nubiles one even though there's no support either way? Funny I see most sponsors have dumps for nubiles but don't see this one even though it's supposed to be a better script.

                                  How is that trading script they have? Is it necessary? Are people trading with tubes in the old TGP style?

                                  I hate scripts that have no support. What's the next priced tube script that would be worth considering? (just in case).

                                      Because it doesn't need a custom dump, all you need is an output that specifies the url to the clip at its most basic form, if the dump has more such as the title,description,url to thumb, ect.. then it can be imported no matter the order.

                                          Cool. Thanks. You use their trade script at all. Also is it an easy install? Usual ftp upload if you so decide (tube script I mean)?

                                                      good scripts, someone actually hired me to remove the liscense feature so they could use it on unlimited domains.

                                                                      yeah, easy install for the tube, you just need to have a MySQL database ready with the details, upload the script, set some file permissions then run the install script.

                                                                      Sorry, i havent used that trade script. I havent tried traffic trading on any of my tubex installs.
