Wow you guys review tgps fast too!!! took about 15 mins. :thumbsup

Are the stats realtime??

and are the links supposed to be raw?

meaning you detect the URL the traffic is coming from. Is it a cookie based system?

thanks

thanks

Stats are on a 5 minute delay.. Yep, we credit entirely on referrer, which means that your noreferrer traffic doesn't get counted, but we have to do it that way or things get very complicated with regard to fraud control. That's why our buy prices are higher than Chokers were.

Cookies are used strictly on the surfer side to handle display unique galleries and for the "set position" gallery links.

I suggest to anyone using us that they always use the set position links.

Cheers,
Backov

Kimmykim 02-12-2003 05:47 PM

Damn Backov, I guess you won the bet. I didn't think they'd even want to see stats.

just kidding, don't panic guys.

It's broken down by traffic type (non gallery or gallery), and by niche.

TGP is non-gallery traffic
GAL is gallery traffic.
TOTAL is total traffic (in that section)

Really shouldn't be that hard to understand..

Backov

MonkeyMan 02-12-2003 08:28 PM

If your revenues increase can we expect higher payouts or will the "Current Prices" only be a way to guage a downhill slide. :winkwink:

.70 per K seems a bit low especally with all the countires you lable "junk"

(How dare you include the Faroe Islands....LOL)

also is the is the "Amount Sent" cumulative???

Sorry for the annoying questions.

so it's how much traffic has been sent?
for example, 105 non-blind hits and 9538 gallery hits have been sent in the amateur section?

70c per k is 2x what choker was paying before he stopped. Unless you traffic is over 50% junk/proxy (no ones is so far) - then you will be making more.

For example, Shemps traffic (which is some of the best TGP traffic there is, mind you) - is 15% foreign, and almost 0% proxy.

In the future, prices will probably go up for certain niches, such as the niched gay, and other less common niches where the traffic is worth more.

Amount Sent, I assume you're talking about on the seller side. Yes, it's cumulative for the day. Traffic with the same price is grouped together. So currently ALL traffic is grouped together. If you send 100k across 15 categories, you will get the 100k rate for all of them.

Cheers,
Backov

Yes, for today and yesterday. We don't have a 24 hour trade-style period, we end the day at midnight server time, so I combine the days to give a more accurate representation of traffic.

Monkey: Junk is tallied seperately from the normal traffic, so no.

Backov

Socks 02-13-2003 04:02 AM

Can this send traffic to our main page or directly to a review page? A review page looks like this:

http://www.adultsitesurfer.com/Revie...com/index.html

Ya, that would be a non-gallery target.

Backov

Backov I suggested tp Kimmykim that is would be be good if buyers could write their own text links and KK said she'd consult with you. The non-gallery target above is a good example of what I'm talking about. Kimmykim said a generic non-gallery link will be something like "Amateur Gallery" or "Amateur Site". But with link descriptions like this the traffic to adultsitesurfer.com would actually be blind since the surfer will be expecting free picture galleries. Whereas if the buyer were able to create their own link, in this case maybe "Paysite reviews", the traffic would be highly targeted. Perhaps you could introduce customized links as a premium add-on? I'd happily pay extra! Plus you'd be able able to broaden your buyer base beyond just TGPs.

Hmm yes, problem is that the links have to be generic enough so that all targets can match at least to some degree.

To do dynamic links would require scripting on the TGP side, and wouldn't be pretty.

Our next program will be the killer one for direct to paysite traffic, watch for it in a few weeks.

Cheers,
Backov

I'm sure it's been answered before, but I'm too lazy to check :thumbsup

once i purchase gallery traffic and submit a gallery URL, it has to be reviewed, right?
how long before i start to get the traffic? minutes? hours? weeks?

Yep, I review it.. After it's reviewed, if you have owed traffic in the niche the gallery is in, the traffic starts flowing. Dependent of course on supply. We're currently supplied in at least some number in all niches, AFAIK.. Gallery traffic that is. Non-Gallery is still hens tooth rare. ;>

Backov

backov, can you contact me on icq?

Rand 02-14-2003 06:06 PM

:thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Congrat's Kimmy Kim! All the best to you with your new program.

MonkeyMan 02-16-2003 07:14 AM

I gots another question about the program. Is the Proxy number RAW proxy hits or Uniques.

subtracting raw proxy hits from the Unique gallery hits would make the calculation rather unfair.

Just checking.

(and bumpung the spam becasue there needs to be more friggin' galleries in rotation :Graucho )

Proxies are counted in the exact same way that uniques are counted.. So unique proxies are subtracted from uniques.

Backov
