Looks like Ron Paul wised up

Well, I would guess that Romney supporters might be happy; you can't see that happening? It does not matter in the grand scheme of things since Obama seems to have this locked up anyway.Comment

American politics is such a joke these days. The front runners are so similar as to hardly matter which one gets picked, but to hear people talk about them you'd think it was a life or death situation if the guy they like doesn't win. Its like sports fans who get into stadium brawls. Figure it out people, the president will always be such a dullard white-bread milktoast patsy its hard to believe they conned you out of your vote.Comment

He stopped campaigning, which is smart. He will continue his delegate strategy. It has been very successful. His supporters have been nominated to almost all delegate slots in states that have held their state conventions. The RNC should be interesting.

He's not dropping out.
I'm getting a chuckle out of watching the neocons and die-hard Democrats here dancing on the Paul campaign's grave already. The media spin on this may come back to haunt them when Romney's supporters mistakenly stay home thinking he's already won the nomination.
Paul has already won the majority of delegates in a number of states. So if a bunch of Fox News viewing, Yahoo! news sharing Republicans stay home in California, Texas, and elsewhere...it could end up being just what Paul needs.
Whether intentional or unintentional, I think this is a very nice move by the Paul campaign.

Have you even looked at the delegate count? http://elections.nytimes.com/2012/primaries/delegates
Romney needs 171, Ron Paul needs 1,000+ - there are only 814 remaining. I hate to break to to you, but you are a dreamer if you think Romney does not have it covered and that Ron Paul stands an ice cube's chance in hell. $.02Comment

How has Romney won delegates when they have not even been voted on yet? Fact is Ron Paul supporters have won almost every single delegate slot in every state that has had a convention. They even won every single one in Mass. If they get the majority of the delegates the RNC could turn upside down and Romney will not be the nominee.

The process is a little more complicated than MSM would like the cattle to know.

Ron Paul's not going anywhere, he has real support. Fuck a delegate count because it was rigged for Romney from day one. I'm not a Paul supportor but as you can tell the people that do support him are fucking die hard.
Take a drive in any American city and you will see a lot of Ron Paul signs on homes and cars. Far more than Obama and I haven't seen a Romney sign anywhere. Ron Paul has so many followers that actually care about him that he's going to stay around this electionAlways looking for trades on Linkspun! Check my Id hereComment
