    Diablo 3 Official Game Launch - Tonight.

    Diablo 3 officially launches tonight, well sort of. The game servers come online at 12 midnight PST, which is 3am EST here, so I am not going to be playing until tomorrow. I have a feeling that with as much buzz as there is surrounding this game, there are going to be server problems, but we will see.

    I am downloading the game client right now. You can download it HERE.

                  I've never played Diablo. Is it necessary to purchase previous versions in order to play Diablo 3?

                      Nope. Diablo 3 is not an expansion pack or anything like that. It is its own stand alone game.

                                  Got that message during install,but i having latest vendor drivers which are old 8 months but works normally,seems ati drivers totaly fucked up windows and though how i had to reinstall windows due it till i reinstalled vendor drivers.

                                              One thing I recently found out about was that there is not going to be different 'realms' like in WoW. There is going to be one central North American server (as well as a few others for other parts of the world), which I am sure will be hundreds of servers networked together. I think is a great idea. You won't have to worry about being on a lame server/realm because we'll all be on the same one.

                                                  Also it seems you can pick this time to which realm you want to connect unlike in ScII.

                                                          Uhm, there's no persistent world, and no server-realms (besides geographic limits I guess) because you can only play with 4 people? Or am I out to lunch?

                                                                          I didn't have much of a problem logging onto battle.net when Diablo 2 was released, sometimes it would disconnect but for the most part is was okay.

                                                                              I used to buy new machines when Blizzard updated and released new games. Warcraft... Diablo... Diablo II... World of Warcraft... (Not a Sci-Fi fan, so no StarCraft...)

                                                                              I don't think I'll be buying this one. Its been ten fucking years...

                                                                                  yes, it has been a long wait, and Diablo 2 was so extremely good, this one will have a lot to live up to, could be the game of the decade though, I'm just not sure I want to jump in tonight, or get some work done for a few weeks first and then dedicate my days and nights to it

Going to head to bed early tonight so I can wake up about an hour after servers go live and play for a while. If the servers are overloaded like I am expecting I might just go back to bed and try again tomorrow.
