Oddly, I consider myself to be pretty apathetic when it comes to others - don't really have enough emotional currency to spend on others to go so far as "hate".

Also, I don't feel affiliates deserve to make a living (in the context of that conversation). You deserve what you earn. This is not the Soviet Union. Just because the game changes making it harder for affiliates, doesn't mean the industry should somehow magically change to make it "easier" for affiliates to compete or succeed. That's not how a free market is supposed to work.
