Hello g...ys!

Hey can we debate about serious theme, I assume u all had (allmost) website and some earn a lot of money some little, so
wich banner ads or text ads is better than other, what is the major key for good ads, is this good graphics, mybe very good text? On wich ads custumer click more often and why?

Opinion and experience please?

As for your question Mr.Dee, there is no magic formula. The best advice is to test, test and keep testing. But in general I tend favor text in the form of a *genuine* personal recommendation.

Okay. In English, this reads (roughly):

Hey, can we talk about something serious? I assume that most of you have websites and some of you earn a lot of money, (some of you earn not as much, I understand).

Which is better: banner ads or text ads? What is the major key of good ads, good graphics or good text? Which ads get more customer clicks and why?

Now for my answer: LOTS of ads convert. The idea is to make the surfer HOT to click that banner or text ad. It's all about selling the ad, which in turn can help sell the sponsor site or product.

Text get more clicks as surfers distrust banners too much. Just a hunch but I bet banners convert better % wise though.

what works for me, text links are the best.....

example:

I created a flash banner with about 5 pics & addded these text links in the flash banner:
Movie1
Movie2
Movie3
Movie4
Movie5
I tried this for about a day & my hits were ok but not what they should have been.

I changed the text links to:
Mpeg1
Mpeg2
Mpeg3
Mpeg4
Mpeg5
and my hits doubled. Be creative & try different ads and see which ones works best for you.
