Clerks is my fav. of all of Kevin's movies. The cartoon was cool as hell, and of course it got cancelled early. You can buy the uncensored versions from ViewAskew also. Sweet shit.

yeah, it isn't really a Kevin Smith movie... he is just attached to it. I heard Vulgar is much better...

But yeah, there is a reason Drawing Flies or A Better Place never got theatrical distro.

Yeah I have seen it and lets just say it wasn't the best thing his name has been attached to.

Clerks is my fave because of what he did with very little plus it was where I started with him..way back in a life time far far away.

Vulgar was the biggest waste of a VHS tape I've ever seen. It was really, really bad.

No offense but Dogma was a great comedy attack on religion.

It's funny that a thread about Kevin Smith suddenly appeared on GFY. Just in the past few days/weeks I've watched Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Mallrats and am about to see Chasing Amy and Clerks.

I love em all.

An Evening with Kevin Smith DVD is the best Xmas gift I got this year...

lol, you are almost watching them backwards. Once you are done trust me, watch them in order and they will be even better. Pay close attention to the names of characters in Clerks.

Mall Rats not getting any love....I thought that movie had some very funny shit! Agreed on about Clerks being #1, and Dogma was good too, but I liked all the one liners in Mall Rats! You said it was a good size!!! I bet Shannon Doherty is kinky!

Kevin Smith is great, the Silent Bob character is classic. He has a small cameo role (not as SB) in DareDevil. Clerks was filmed for ~$25k, all financed by Smith on credit cards.

All of the "New Jersey Trilogy" movies kick ass.

Do you guys think the Jay and Silent Bob legacy is finally over?
