The Canadian Supreme Court ruled in 2007, that Canadians can "share" music and movies all they wish -- provided that a profit was not being made -- as it is similar to signing out a library book.
I did not ask fris for any money other than the cost of a hard drive, and I also gave him the option of furbishing me with a hard drive. I did not at any point ask for payment for the content.
I have not broken any laws in Canada - where both of us reside.
It's not my fault you might live in a country that is very anal about activities where no profit is being made .....

You can trust me DamianJ .... as a hosting provider for the past 14 years, I am very "up" on piracy and copyrighting laws in Canada, as it is something I deal with on a weekly basis.
