I called an older friend and he wanted to know why a photo came up with me and my wife on his phone. He was on an android. I did not see it and I don't know anyone with an android but it sounded like my google plus photo. anyone confirm?

Yes. It fetched some profile pictures into my phone and I went through with my brother looking for where the picture it had fort him was pulled from and it was a google one.

Android phones will pull photos from Google+ or Facebook to use for photos in the Contacts app.

Android scared the fuck out of me. I just got one a few weeks ago for the first time. I started fucking with it, and all of a sudden contacts that I haven't contacted in years showed up on my contact list. People that died long ago, old weed connects from other states...

If you have a ton of Facebook friends and don't choose otherwise, it will import them all as contacts.

it's not just android, google does that with all their email etc

it is fucked up because if you emailed someone once even 5 years ago all of the sudden it might show up as a suggested "friend" or connection

I'm waiting for this to start linking all sorts of weird criminal connections to completely innocent people that had a random contact.

My e-mail is full of people that I would never talk to more than once. Craigslist, eBay, Amazon?
