Can websites simply be doomed?

I have a website that's been around for ages. I never really did a hell of a lot with it but I figured over time it would get a few hundred visits, but nothing. There are tons of keywords showing up but the keywords are so deep in the search engines a NASA space module would never find them.

Is this website simply doomed? Should I just scrap it or is there a way to recover it. I would never actually scrap it, it can stay where it's at until the end of time but what to do. Yes backinks and all the usual stuff but?????

Email me the domain name if you would like a set of eyes on it. Old established sites have a way to index really well by making some changes.

You haven't provided nearly enough information to get you a real answer, but here's what you need to have to make your site work for you.

A - Good Live Content
B - Good Paying Customers who are looking for that content, and
C - Time and patience to allow those customers to convert.

Getting all of the above is hard to do of course, but its not impossible. You need good, engaging models, and lots of potential customers for them to engage with. The more charming your content is, and the more targeted your customers are, the more money you will make.

Sent back an email on what I think may be biggest issue. I've seen penalties lifted as soon as 1 day after changes made.

I have some other thoughts as to why you are getting little love from SE's as well.
