    IYHO - Was Michael Jackson a kiddy fiddler or not?

    Looking back, with the benefit of both time and hindsight... What do YOU think?

    I remember the big court cas, and reading the transcripts etc, and at the time, I thought (Based on the transcripts) that he was guilty.

    I also thought, based on the 'Hush Money' payments (BEFORE THE BIG COURT CASE) that he was guilty. Why? Because my logic was that if I were ever accused of anything, as abhorrant as that, and I was innocent, that I would use my wealth to prove myself innocent in public court...

    But he didn't - He simply 'Paid Them Off...'

    Then, when the big case came along, he DID fight it...

    So what do you think? Guilty or not guilty? Yes or No ?

                                  There was nothing normal about the man. I don't know. I wouldn't have left my kids alone with him and cant imagine any parent who would. He was just a really weird guy and the possibility of sexual abuse would be only one entry in a long list of concerns. I mean clearly his idea of right, wrong, normal, acceptable behavior was quite a bit different from the mainstream.

                                  But I do believe in innocent until proven guilty regardless of how sensational the accusation is. It was never proved, so as far as I am concerned, he is still innocent.

                                                  I was at Neverland many times for work (I have another arcade business) and I do gotta say I thought things were inappropriate but not illegal. He was a weird dude that is for sure but he always paid his bills on time so the rest wasn't my business.                                                               I don't know. He sure didn't make things easy on himself though -- his bizarre behavior and plastic surgery addiction didn't help. One thing is indisputable--the man was a GENIUS whose creative influence will live on far longer than most (if not all) of the people on this forum. His genius won't excuse kiddie diddling but the jury's still out on that... You can't argue with the fact that he did make himself a target to extortionists...
