    Whats important when you trade links?

    Hi,

    What is important when you do ABC trades:
    1. Same nieche. I think this is obvious.
    2. PR. Obvious.
    3. Internal Links? Are these important?
    4. External Links? Are these important?
    5. Traffic. Do you exchange links with sites (blogs) that dont have any traffic?

              2. PR. Obviously greater than 0.
              3. what do you mean by that?
              other site linking to your internal pages ? yes it matters
              or target sites internal linking.? does not matters
              4. External Links are very important.,
              how many outgoing links are available on that sites. more than 20 looks spammy.
              5. Traffic does not matter.

              few more point., how many pages it has indexed in google., the more are better.
              anchor text very important, title tag not that important.

                  For 4...most sites on linkspun have > 100 external links.

                      -number of outgoing links?
                      -link location? (footer links suck)
                      -incoming links? (how many, from where, legit, spammy?)
                      -content? unique? RSS feeds?

                              I would be very happy to trade links with a new PR0 blog that is managed by a motivated/hard working webmaster who will update the site for a long time.

                              Don't trade with PR0 sites is bullshit. Those links will be very valuable with time.

                              And SEO is a long term duty...

                                      Very well said. I think what mostly counts, is the site itself. You need to have a look at it, you need to check if it's just spammy (some on linkspun are with NO contet at all!!!) or if there is a webmaster there ready to put hard work into it.

                                      Anyway...same niche surely, no point in looking for different niche trades
