    NATS- WOW! I never saw a shittier system

    Alright,
    As you know I come from the mainstream affiliate world. The world where we have proper tracking. Where we can add sub ids easily and generate easy reports. We have HasOffers and other system. Now I got into the adult industry and it seems everyone are using NATS.
    WTF ?!?!? It's the worst thing ever created for someone who is running paid traffic and wants to do some serious split testing and have proper stats.
    Generating links - SHIT
    Grabbing creatives - SHIT
    Stats reports- SHIT
    wow. I'm simply shocked people actually use a system like that in 2012.

    What do you think about that?

          The simple solution here is to write your own.


          Don't get me wrong, nats has a ton of things that can be done better - a ton - but when your choices are limited to biller (if you think nats is bad, try ccbills back end), mpa3 (I don't know anything about it so can't comment) and nats, you either use what's available or create your own.

                                          DarkJedi: HasOffers already beat me to it. I can't see a single feature NATS has that HasOffers doesn't do better. I just don't get it... Maybe I'm missing a magical feature that is only relevant in the adult industry but from what I saw so far, NATS should be burned. In terms of usability and features it's simply bad and outdated. It's like someone still using Windows 3.11. Fuck this shit. I'd rather have a lower conversion rate or payout and work with an offer that works on HasOffers. This is simply ridiculous.

                                                                                                                                              NATS - No easy way to add variables and subids to links, no reports for day parting (yea I'm sure conversions for CAMs are at the same level all day, and not mostly at launch breaks of fat american executives and like to wank off and tell a pretty .ru girl what to do. Would be great to see that no?). So much data you can gather with awesome tracking that it's a sin to not do it.

                                                                                                                                                      I use my property tracking system, but I do need some data from the advertiser to track the conversions through the entire flow. And that is where NATS pale to other aff tracking systems.

                                                                                                                                                                              There was a sponsor I use recently considering switching to Mpa3 from Nats to save money. At the tier they are probably paying in for Nats I figured up it would be about a $50 a month difference. Considering how much more Nats gets me as far as stats and options you know I'd almost pay that $50 a month myself as an affiliate for them to keep it. Not to knock mpa3 or anything but Nats 4.1 is pretty damn good and has a lot of nice options going for it which mpa3 and most other such programs just don't have. I don't see how you can call Nats 4.1 crappy. Maybe some of the previous versions, sure.

A great way to fill out the development roadmap for future versions of NATS.

                                                                                                                                                                                              Just curious - have you tried contacting your rep at TMM? Maybe your sales rep at TMM can help you out. I don't know if they charge for their time or not (I don't think so) but everyone there is pretty nice and I'm sure they would not want to lose anyone as a client who maybe didn't know how to use their system properly.
