Thank you.

EVEN IF CARBON DID NOT EFFECT THE CLIMATE, CARBON IS CREATING ACIDIFICATION OF THE WATER AND POLLUTION IS EFFECTING THE HEALTH OF ALL LIVING CREATURES.

There is no logical reason to pollute if we do not need to. Without a healthy environment, there will be no life as we know it.

The same idiots complaining how we are "ruining the future of our children and grandchildren with the burden of debt" don't give a damn about the biodiversity and our future ability to survive on earth. Money or life? Fucking greedy bastards!

hold on you just changed the channel on this... nobody in here is fucking pro pollution!!!

the argument is whether we are directly effecting the climate on our planet or not... jesus.. whats next? you going to talk about how we are wrong because we are pro punching kittens?

That's a big leap you're making. Do humans have an effect on the environment? Of course they do, just like every other living being has an effect on its surroundings. Should people be allowed to simply dump chemical waste in rivers or gas their neighbors by burning harmful stuff in their backyard? Of course not. But, those things we can observe, measure, record and do something about.

Does the climate change? Of course, just look at history. Climate change is a fact of life. Since this planet came to be, every aspect of it has constantly been changing. Continents drift, volcanoes erupt, what once was a fertile plane is now the Sahara desert, you used to be able to walk across the Bering street,...

To think we now suddenly know everything there is to know about this planet, to think we now suddenly understand everything about this very complex system we live in, to think we can somehow tinker with this complex system by constructing a special tax system is naive at best...

I hate science deniers and science bashing. Problem is most of Americans are scientifically illiterate.

To be a scientist is to be critical but open-minded. To be a scientist is to question everything, including what you already think you know.

To question the ideas and conclusions of other people (even if they are scientists) does not make one a science denier or basher.

As is usually the case in these climate contrarian letters, this one has no scientific content, and is written by individuals with not an ounce of climate science expertise, but who nevertheless have the audacity to tell climate scientists what they should think about climate science.

On the flip side 99% of people who believe in all of the global warming alarm-ism do so because of a movie produced by a politician with not an ounce of climate science expertise.

And believe it or not there are actual climate scientists who disagree with the "consensus" on climate change theory.
